Interested persons must hold an active Cosmetology license issued by the state of Alabama.
The Cosmetology Instructor 1 program is a course designed to train licensed cosmetologists to become qualified instructors, equipping them with the educational skills necessary to teach various aspects of hairdressing, skincare, makeup application, and nail care within a cosmetology school setting while focusing on lesson plan development, effective classroom management, student evaluation, and preparation for state-mandated instructor licensing exams
